Hey guys,

A few days ago I received my Eberlestock Gunrunner backpack and I'm excited to get it out in the Mountains. While I was shopping around for the Gunrunner I noticed that details about the pack were very limited. The exact size of the scabbard wasn't really mentioned and while contemplating the purchase I was always wondering what exactly could I fit in the scabbard? Well, upon receiving the pack I did a walk around video showing the features of the backpack and also did some scabbard testing to see what could fit.

For those that prefer reading, here's a quick summation of my impressions:

The Gunrunner is a very minimalist pack mimicking the old style of camping rucksack. It mainly consists of one large compartment and a smaller zip up pouch on top secured with a compressions strap. The folks at Eberlestock put a modern and dare I say, tactical?, twist on this traditional design with the addition of a hydration pouch in the main compartment, a small exterior pouch on the front, a horizontal compression strap to back up the vertical and Molle, lots of Molle. The two compressions straps work great for securing soft gear to the pack but just in case I still advise further securing with paracord. The Molle can obviously be used to adapt any type of Molle gear that can fit, allowing users to configure and add any type of pouches they want (this would work great for one of those tactical First Aid Kits we're seeing around these days). Since this is an Eberlestock product, guns were in mind during it's design and an integrated normal sized scabbard is included (check out my youtube video to see what fits :D).

Two new videos live on youtube

Hey guys,

Yesterday I posted a couple new videos on my youtube channel

One is a review of a flashlight equipped forend (or forestock) for the Remington 870 shotgun available from Canada Ammo. In short the forend was a flop, the tab that retains the flashlight in place broke very quickly and since then I've replaced it with a Magpul SGA

Also I had some stupidity related troubles while installing the magpul SGA forend. You can watch and laugh at this short video :D

I'll be posting the video of the successful install later on this week.

Thanks for reading and watching guys, please like favourite or subscribe on my youtube channel. It helps me out and the feedback gives me further incentive to make more videos. :D

Bear Defence Gag video live on youtube channel

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago youtuber The Yankee Marshal posted a video showing some alarming statistics about the threat of being eaten by a bear if you reside in Canada. He also went on to apply in, reverse, the half-baked logic anti-gunners use when they look at statistics and try to bend them to their will in order to fit their interests. As such he created the new American gun control counter argument that since the United States has less restrictive gun laws, they don't get eaten by bears. 'merica!

Check Yankee's video out here:

Grizzlies and Gun Laws by The Yankee Marshal

In response I posted a video of me defending myself from a two-man, or two-bear team of Glock toting, fridge armoured bears. Check it out below. Also note the tactical light fail while firing.

How Canadians Deal with Hostile Bears.
